Great article. I am an ectomorph but with a light sprinkling of meso as well. I am tall-ish with long slender limbs, but I have always found that I am better suited to short distance running than long distance. I think it's got something to do with twitch-fibres, which apparently vary between ethnic groups.
When I do weight training I find that I can develop my pecs the most easily, followed by glutes, and then upper legs. I find the body parts hardest to develop are calves and deltoids, followed by arms.

Mesomorph I believe here. Would there be a way to change your body type, not in general but this label? I would think outwardly you could, and of course you can do all sorts of things to alter your metabolic rate but genetically I don't know if it'd be possible to ultimately alter it. And like Skinny wrote, it's also how YOU feel about yourself.

I think I'm between Ectomorph and Mesomorph. I share similar qualities from each. I have muscles, but I'm not an hour glass. I have very little curves, flat chest, I gain weight easily (but not too much). :S

As one who has been very athletic most of my life, I can appreciate the advantages certain body types have in certain sports. Now that I am over 50 and not as active, (I still snowboard), I can see that my body has reached a plateau for my type, mesomorph...
